A Little Dirt Never Hurt

dirt/dərt/Noun
1. any unclean substance, such as mud, dust, excrement, etc.; filth
2. loose earth; soil
3. the loving name Joshua is known by many

Life can get a little "dirty" when your marrying a hard-working, country-boy, welder. His clothes are never clean. His hands are always callused and greasy. And I would never ask for anything more or less.

Joshua, or Dirt as most know him by, came into my life and it changed for the better.
One Thursday in the heat of an Arizona July, he got up the nerve to ask for my phone number while I was working at the general store. He had already caught my eye, so excitedly I gave it to him. That night, he cooked me dinner and we enjoyed each other's company. As I headed home that evening we both knew this was something special.
Unseparable ever since, we both knew it was and still is this crazy little thing called love.

He is my knight in dirty jeans and the cowboy who has come to take me away.
Silly, crazy, messy, ornery, sweet, funny and so much more.

I was born to be his woman and he was made to be my man.
