Invites and Such

After the crazyness of work and the holidays were over I realized two things...
1. Three months until the big day! *insert scream here*
and
2. I need to get started on the invitations!

With my laptop in front of me I scoured the internet for ideas. Grabbing bits and pieces from every one I came across.
All I knew was I need to capture the essence of "us" in these pieces of paper tucked in an envelope that will be unleased into the world....

Away I worked on the perfect wording and design.

Next was the printing.
LOTS of printing......

Then of course was the whole putting them together.

With a bag full of stuff, I showed up at my future sister-in-law's house. I layed all the goodies out on the table.
And she said, "Ok so what are we doing?"
With a smile, I replied, "I have no idea..."

After a laugh and the realization that I wasnt exactly kidding, we got to work.
Brainstorming as we went, the end resulted captured everything I wanted in our invitation.
Vintage. Rustic. Chic. Pretty yet imperfect.
Just like us.

So grateful to have my amazing future sister-in-law in my life to deal with my somewhat controlling yet winging-it way of doing things.

And with all this being said some have been unleashed on the world some are still being worked on.
Do-It-Yourself is somewhat time consuming...
